Friday morning, my friend Jeremy and I had the opportunity to sit down with author and friend, Stefanie Zagzebski for a fun and intimate conversation on the Mighty Caregivers Circle.

Stefanie recently released her new book, Exhale: You’re Safe Now, a journey through a house where each destination creates space for Scripture, reflection, healing, hope, and a chance to breathe.

Just a few pages in, and the reader really feels the presence of God. It didn't take me long to shed some tears, the words are powerful and definitely gives the reader all the feels.

Stefanie shares with our audience that this story actually began about 10 years ago. But what’s interesting is that this isn’t actually the story she originally intended to tell.

She had a book that was supposed to be released, but God said, “No. That’s going to be your fourth book.” That book contains her full story and testimony.

She says God told her, “It’s not time for that yet. You’re to take care of people first. You’re to lead them back home before you tell them exactly what your story is.”

"From the Road. You can still see the road behind you. Every mile brings you exactly here. Some roads were chosen by you, and others were not. Some you may have run down quickly as you could just to excape the others. Some of you stayed on because you just couldn't see any other way. There were roads that took you farther and deeper that you planned to go. roads that brought people into your life and removed others. There were seasons where you did not know where you were going. One thing is for sure, you couldnt stay where you were. Maybe this time, you just took the long way home. Maybe you spent years trying to outrun something that was living beside you and never behind you. Maybe you kept moving becasue stopping was remember what happend. And maybe the road changed you."
