DON’T WAIT!!
Three years ago, I was living in my mobile home. I had just moved into it, and I knew I wanted to travel. I wanted to see the country. I wanted financial freedom. I wanted to be a gypsy, or at least the flame inside of me was buring to be one!
I knew this, I wanted to be free to do what I wanted. Life by design.
I don't think I really ever thought much about the HOW. 😂 I just knew I wanted it.
I knew I need a vehicle that I could tow a small camper with. (Also, learn how to do that)
I didn't know exactly how I would travel. I didn't know what any of it would look like.
I just knew I wanted to go.
I had a dream.
And then life happened. Like it does.
A LOT has happened in three years. I lost my house. I lost $25K to fraud. I've dealt with financial setbacks, a wage garnishment that I am fighting. Trust, there have been plenty of moments where I felt like I was simply going through the motions.
Three years.
It really isn't that long. But a bleep...
So much can happen in three years. I was thinking about this on my walk this morning. How quickly time goes. How precious it really is.
And how easy it is to keep waiting for the “right time” to do the things that make us happy. The things that please God.
We wait until we have more money.
More time.
A better plan.
Fewer responsibilities.
We wait until we know exactly how it's all going to work.
But what if we don't need to know the HOW?
What if we just need make the DECISION? And trust God with the rest.
If there is something you've been thinking about doing, something that makes you smile when you think about it, something that gives you absolute joy, maybe you shouldn't keep putting it off.
Maybe that's God.
Maybe that's His whisper telling you, “Now is the time.”
I don't know why this journey has been laid on my heart. I really don't. I just know it has.
I am SO excited about it. Like inexplainable joy comes over me when I think about 6am Wednesday morning!!
Like a kid in a candy store thats just been told he/she can have anything they wanted!! No limitations!
My prayer is that someone's life will be changed when they find the card. That they will feel encouraged and loved.
I am going to do my very best to be an open book along the way. I will takes and share lots of pictures, videos, tell the stories and pay attention to what God is showing me. And what He want's me to share with you.
I don't want to miss any of it.
So, whatever it is you've been putting off, maybe it's time to stop thinking about the HOW and make a decision.
Do something that makes you smile.
Do something that brings you joy.
And hey, while you're at it...
Don't forget to take Him with you. ❤️
Keep it Simple. God Loves You.
And so do I.
